TVIS Limited are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA no. 523215) and we are a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

What information do we collect?

We only ask for information that we need and have strict controls in place to keep it safe. We collect your personal information in order to provide our products and services to you. Without the information we request, we can’t provide you with the full range of products and services we offer.

Personal information we collect may be held in paper or digital form.

  • Your full name, job title, place of work
  • Contact details (email address, telephone numbers, fax numbers)
  • Practice bank details
  • Wholesaler account information
  • Details of any accessibility requirements so that we may make reasonable adjustments to help you
  • When you use our websites. we may collect a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on our websites, and the site you exit to.

 

We may request this information when you:

  • register you as a user of The Hub (http://hub.vetsure.com/)
  • via WordPress to enable you to access the site securely or
  • You choose to register / login to The Hub via Facebook the Vetsure Hub Facebook app. The app will receive access to your email address and Public Profile which, by default, includes your name, profile picture, age range, gender, language, country and other public information. The app cannot post to Facebook on your behalf
  • add the practice you represent as a member of Buysure for Vets or Buysure Platinum

How do we use and share your personal information?

All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary considering, the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with our obligations and safeguard your rights under the GDPR at all times.

Our use of your personal data will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to our use of your personal data (e.g. by subscribing to emails), or because it is in our legitimate interests. As a regulated financial services organisation, we’re required to comply with legal and regulatory obligations such as the prevention, detection and reporting of fraud and other financial crime.   • To restrict us processing your personal information (the right to restrict receive your personal information in a portable format to re-use with another service or organisation (right to portability)
  • To object to us processing your personal information for particular purposes (the right to object)

How long do we keep your personal information?

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to in order to use it as described above in the ‘How do we use and share your personal information’ section, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it

Storage of personal information outside of the United Kingdom

Some or all of your data may be stored outside of the European Economic Area (‘the EEA”) (The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein). You are deemed to accept and agree to this by using Our Site and submitting information to Us. If We do store data outside the EEA, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the GDPR.
